Coalition and Network Building
To build truly impactful climate solutions, we must work together across organizations and communities. Coalition and network building allows SGA to amplify our own impact, as well as that of our partners.

Community Coalitions for Change
SGA helps bring communities together to find equitable climate solutions, creating a regional sustainability ecosystem that prioritizes care for both people and the planet.
Through webinars, forums, conferences, and other events, SGA creates opportunities for community leaders to learn from each other and share best practices.
Public institutions such as schools, park districts, and libraries are key sites for impactful sustainability projects that help communities achieve climate goals. SGA catalyzes connections between these institutions both within and across municipalities, fostering collaborations that increase impact.
SGA serves as a hub of expertise and resources for businesses, nonprofits, municipal governments, and public institutions. We support our stakeholders not only with our own internal expertise, but also by connecting them with other organizations that can help achieve their climate and sustainability goals.
Creating Connections for a Sustainable Future
Building connections and networks between communities, civic leaders, and climate advocates is at the heart of what we do, because we’re so much more powerful and effective when we work together.
