There are many ways to get involved in the climate fight. Here are just a few:

1. Vote. Make your voice heard and support those candidates committed to taking action on the environment. Don’t just focus on national politics. You can make a huge difference at the local level. 
2. Reduce your food waste. It’s a huge contributor to greenhouse gas emissions, and there are many ways to compost at home. Check if your municipality has a composting program.
3. Make your home energy efficient. Many utilities offer free energy audits that give you easy, low-cost ways to use less energy. Weatherization kits are available through many home improvement retailers and utility companies, as well, and can help save money and energy.
4. Join a group. Environmental advocacy is always more fun with friends! Find a local environmental group and go to meetings, volunteer, organize protests or fundraisers. Collective action is crucial to the climate fight!
