- Provide education opportunities on clean energy models locally and across the country and provide direct technical assistance to facilities managers.
- Connect residents to new solar energy projects in IL.
- Apply for an off-site IL Solar for All array that would serve lower-middle-income residents and people of color.
- Develop a Community Solar RFP (request for proposal) for institutions and sectors to enable them to buy solar energy through a power purchase agreement.
- Support the expansion of the Village of Oak Park municipal community solar program.
- Explore a residential group buy program through Solarize Chicago.
- Engage lower-middle-income residents and people of color with the Village of Oak Park's Climate Action Plan.
